 Our teams support wind farm operators with practical, site-led solutions for blade repair, leading edge protection, LPS testing and repairs, blade upgrades and asset integrity inspections. Experienced in working within remote and high-risk environments, we deliver both planned and reactive maintenance programmes, including shutdown works and short-notice repairs.

 In addition to our rope access expertise, Highline has developed innovative maintenance systems and specialist tooling, including the TipStation™ blade repair platform, enabling work to be completed more safely, efficiently and cost-effectively while reducing reliance on additional access equipment and plant.

  • TAC84 Ballast Tank Repair, Meridian Energy

    Highline partnered with Meridian Energy to repair leaking ballast tanks on TAC84 wind turbine blades at Te Apiti Wind Farm. To complete the work safely, we designed and fabricated a bespoke blade-mounted access system, enabling technicians to carry out in situ Brawoliner repairs using rope access. The project extended the service life of the blades while avoiding replacement.

  • Leading Edge Repair Programme: White Hill Wind Farm, Meridian Energy

    Highline delivered multiple seasons of leading edge repairs for Meridian Energy at White Hill Wind Farm. To improve safety and efficiency, we designed and implemented our bespoke Leading Edge Repair Seat, providing technicians with a stable blade-mounted working platform. The system approximately doubled repair productivity compared with conventional rope access methods, enabling more work to be completed within seasonal maintenance windows.

    Tower Corrosion Repairs, Te Apiti Wind Farm

    Highline has delivered multiple seasons of tower corrosion repair and protective coating maintenance at Te Āpiti Wind Farm, supporting the long-term integrity of the turbine fleet.   • TipStation™ Blade Tip Repairs: Multiple Sites

    Highline has successfully deployed the TipStation™ across multiple wind farms to undertake blade tip inspections, repairs and modifications. Designed and developed in-house through PosiClamp Systems™, the TipStation™ transforms the blade tip into a stable work platform, reducing reliance on cranes, improving technician productivity and enabling safer, more efficient repairs in remote locations and short weather windows.
